Privacy Policy

    Effective Date: 29 October 2026

WDI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website or use our services.

    Data We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

    • Contact form data: Full name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content when you submit our contact form.
    • Sales audit form data: Your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, what you sell and who you sell to, and your answers about referrals, repeat clients and capacity to take on more work. We also collect how you found the site through ad click IDs and UTM campaign tags.
    • Analytics data: With Analytics consent, usage data such as pages visited, time spent on the site and referral sources.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies.

When you use our AI and Grant Check or one of our enquiry forms, we collect the details you give us (name, company, role, email address and mobile number) and your answers, such as your team size, sector, whether you sell abroad, whether you're an Enterprise Ireland or Local Enterprise Office client, and which tasks take up your team's time. We also record how you reached us, such as the ad or campaign you clicked and the click identifiers Meta and Google add to their links.

    How We Use Your Data

    We use your information to:

    • Respond to your enquiries and provide our services
    • Improve our website and services
    • Send you relevant communications (with your consent)
    • Comply with legal obligations

We use your answers to show your results and to work out which of our services and which funding routes may suit you. We use your contact details to send you your results and to contact you about your enquiry by phone, WhatsApp (Meta), SMS and email. If you book a call, we send confirmations and reminders by SMS and email. If you have fewer than 10 staff, we may send you up to three follow-up emails about getting started with AI. You can unsubscribe from any email, and reply STOP to any text to stop them. If we ever record a call, we'll tell you at the start and you can ask us not to. We use the ad and campaign details to measure which of our ads work.

    Legal Basis

We process your data based on:

    • Legitimate interest: To respond to enquiries and improve our services
    • Consent: For optional cookies and marketing communications
    • Contractual necessity: To fulfil services you have requested

Sending your results and contacting you about your enquiry: taking the steps you asked us to take, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. Follow-up emails: our legitimate interest in following up on your enquiry, and you can opt out at any time. Measuring our ads with Meta and Google: your consent, given through our cookie banner.

    Cookies and Browser Storage

Our cookie banner groups cookies and browser storage into three categories:

    • Essential: Remembers your consent choice and its date. We ask again after six months. Ad click IDs and UTM campaign tags are also kept for the current browser session, used only to attribute an enquiry you submit.
    • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity help us understand site use. They only run with Analytics consent.
    • Marketing: Apollo website visitor tracking and up to 90 days of storage for ad click IDs and UTM tags across sessions. Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and Meta Pixel, are also in this category when enabled through Google Tag Manager. Marketing tools only run with Marketing consent.

You can change or withdraw your Analytics and Marketing choices at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Essential storage remains active. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Our landing pages use the Meta Pixel and Google tags to measure our ads. They only load if you accept Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) or Analytics cookies (Google Analytics). We keep the ad and campaign details from the link you clicked for the rest of your visit, so we know which ad brought you to us. If you accept cookies, we keep them for up to 30 days. If you accept Marketing cookies and send us an enquiry, we share a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and phone number with Meta and Google so they can match the enquiry to the ad you saw. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

    Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Contact form submissions are typically retained for 2 years.

Enquiries from our ads and the AI and Grant Check are kept for 2 years from your last contact with us and then deleted, unless you become a client. A backup copy of each enquiry is kept on our website for 90 days in case it doesn't reach our CRM.

    Third Parties

We may share your data with:

    • Calendly: Booking calls.
    • Resend: Sending form notification emails.
    • Replit: Website hosting and database storage.
    • Google: Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and Fonts.
    • Meta: Pixel tracking and WhatsApp messaging.
    • Microsoft: Clarity analytics.
    • Apollo: Website visitor tracking.
    • YouTube: Testimonial videos. The video player only loads when you press play.
    • GoHighLevel (our CRM, which also sends our texts and emails and runs our call booking calendars) and Slack (our internal team chat, where new enquiries are flagged to our team). Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Calendly bookings are handled under Calendly's own privacy policy. Optional analytics and marketing tools follow your cookie consent choices.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

    Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

    • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
    • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
    • Erasure: Request deletion of your data
    • Restriction: Limit how we use your data
    • Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
