The best lead generation agencies for construction companies in Ireland

    Written by Jack Doherty

Last updated 26 October 2026. Written by Jack Doherty, founder of WDI. WDI is on this list and we have put it first because it is ours. Every other entry is based on what each firm says on its own website, checked on the date above. Nobody paid to appear here.

If you run a construction or trade business in Ireland, "lead generation" can mean three very different things: a database of planning applications and tenders, ads that bring in homeowner enquiries, or an agency that contacts main contractors and developers for you. Search for it and most of what comes back is one kind of database. This guide sets out the Irish firms behind each kind, so you can pick the one that matches who you sell to.

    How we picked them

    • A stated base in Ireland, on the firm's own site or a public record.
    • Real construction relevance: a construction service page, construction clients or construction case studies on their site.
    • Clear about what they do: channels and buyers stated on their site.
    • No paid placements: we did not ask anyone to be included and nobody paid.

    1. WDI

WDI runs outbound sales for Irish construction and trade businesses using cold email and LinkedIn. We find the people who decide who gets asked to price (contracts managers, QS and procurement teams, developers and specifiers), start the conversation and book interested buyers into the client's calendar. Clients approve every message before it goes. Summit Scaffolding is one of the construction firms we work with.

    • Best for: subcontractors, suppliers, plant hire and specialist trades that want work from contractors and developers they don't know yet.
    • Not for: homeowner leads.

    2. Align

Align is a Dublin sales consultancy and agency with a dedicated construction lead generation service. It builds decision-maker databases and runs outbound calls and targeted email to developers, contractors and design teams, plus inbound "speed to lead" work. Its published construction case study is McGrath Quantity Surveyors.

    • Best for: construction professional services and contractors that want phone-led outreach.

    3. Leadable

Leadable is a Dublin outbound agency founded in 2019. It runs low volume, personalised campaigns across email, calls, LinkedIn, handwritten letters and video. It is not a construction specialist, but its case studies include a construction software company selling to senior people in construction.

    • Best for: firms with large contract values and a small, named list of target accounts.

    4. Generate Leads

Despite the name, Generate Leads is not an outbound agency. It is a Dublin brand and business development consultancy for architecture, engineering, construction and property firms: positioning, messaging, proposals, case studies and BD support. Testimonials on its site come from construction firms such as Metec and Built Interiors.

    • Best for: firms that already get invited to tender and want to win more of what they price.

    5. Emarkable

Emarkable is an Irish digital agency covering content, SEO, email marketing, PPC, LinkedIn and sales enablement for B2B firms. Its case studies include Coen Steel, a steel company repositioned as a technical partner for engineers. It does not offer cold outreach.

    • Best for: construction suppliers that want more inbound enquiries from their website.

    6. Legacy Growth Partners

Legacy Growth Partners in Duleek, Co. Meath runs Google and Meta ads, websites and automated lead follow-up for trades such as roofers, plumbers, electricians, painters and driveway contractors. The leads are mainly homeowner jobs.

    • Best for: trades selling to householders rather than to other construction firms.

Project data services: when you want the list, not the conversation

If you have someone in house to do the chasing, a project database may be all you need. These Irish services track planning applications and tenders:

    • CIS (Hubexo Ireland): a long-running project database with leads, alerts, contacts and competitor tracking, with research teams in Dublin and Belfast.
    • BuildingInfo: an Irish projects and tenders database with key contacts and alerts, aimed at sales teams at suppliers, contractors and M&E firms.
    • ConstructionLeads.ie: planning application leads for all 26 counties, filtered by trade, stage and value, matched to company records.
    • PlanningAlerts.ie: keyword alerts on new planning applications across the country's planning registers.

A database tells you a project exists. You still have to find the right person and get a reply, which is where an outbound agency comes in.

    How to choose

    1. Decide who your buyer is. Homeowners, main contractors, developers and specifiers need different firms. Rule out anyone who mostly serves a different buyer.
    2. Ask for a construction example. An agency that has worked with Irish contractors will know the job titles, the tender cycle and the busy months. Ask for an example in your trade, anonymised if needed.
    3. Ask where their data comes from. Planning registers, eTenders award notices and project trackers all show who is building. Ask how they use them to choose who to contact.
    4. Agree what counts as a meeting or a lead. A booked call with a commercial manager is not the same as a name on a list. Get the definition in writing.
    5. Ask who owns the lists and the sending domains if you stop.
    6. Check reviews you can verify: Google reviews, Clutch and named client videos.

    Frequently asked questions

Start with who buys from you. If it's householders, ads and local search bring enquiries. If it's main contractors and developers, use public tender and planning data to see who is building, then contact the people who build their tender lists by email, LinkedIn or phone, or hire an agency to do it.

Three kinds: outbound agencies that contact contractors and developers for you (such as WDI, Align and Leadable), marketing agencies that bring in inbound or homeowner enquiries, and project data services such as CIS, BuildingInfo and ConstructionLeads.ie.

There is no standard price. It depends on the channel, how many buyers you want to reach and how much research the list needs. Most agencies quote after a call, so ask what is included and how long the minimum term is.

It is if you have time to research every project and chase the right contact yourself. Most trades find the hard part is getting a reply from the person who decides, not finding the project.

The first weeks go on research, lists and setup. Construction buyers move slowly, so expect conversations first and contracts over the following months.
